Your files
All FileKitt tools process files locally in your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your files are never transmitted to, stored on, or processed by our servers. When you close the tab, nothing persists except downloads you chose to save.
What we do collect
- Anonymous usage analytics — page views and approximate region, to understand which tools are useful. No file contents, no filenames.
- Local preferences — settings like dark mode are stored in your own browser's localStorage and never sent anywhere.
Advertising
FileKitt is supported by advertising. Ad networks (such as Google AdSense) may use cookies to show relevant ads and measure performance; these cookies are controlled by the ad network, not us. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and consent tools are shown where required by law.
Third-party libraries
Tool pages load open-source libraries (pdf.js, jsPDF, SheetJS, pdf-lib, JSZip) from the cdnjs content delivery network. The CDN sees a standard web request for the library file — never your documents.
