How does the crop decide what to keep?
It takes the largest area of your chosen aspect ratio that fits inside the image, positioned by the focus point you pick (centre by default). Nothing is stretched.
What is the "focus" option for?
It controls which part is kept when the crop is smaller than the image — for example, "top" keeps heads in frame for portraits.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Cropping happens entirely in your browser using canvas — the image never leaves your device.
Which formats can I use?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF as input; output is JPG, PNG or WebP.
