When you need images, not a document
Plenty of situations want a picture rather than a PDF: sharing a single page on WhatsApp, dropping a page into a slide deck, posting a document where the upload box only accepts images, or pulling one figure out to annotate. Converting each page to a JPG solves all of these, and doing it page-by-page keeps every image sharp.
About the output quality

If your PDF has multiple pages, you don't click through them one at a time; the tool bundles every page into a single ZIP file with the pages numbered in order, so a 30-page document is one download, not thirty.
JPG versus PNG for pages
This tool outputs JPG because document pages are photographic in nature once rendered, and JPG keeps those files small while looking clean. If you specifically need lossless output or transparency β say you're extracting a logo or a diagram with a transparent background β convert the page afterwards with the image converter. And if you later need those images back in a single document, JPG to PDF reverses the process.
